You are now about half way through your course. It would be a good idea to think about how things are going and decide if you want any additional information or support from the university. For example:

Progress and TMA scores

* You can check your progress in StudentHome by accessing your Course Record and then the Assessment Calculator, to work out what you need to do to successfully meet the course requirements. If you combine this with the assessment strategy for your course, you should be able to work out what you need to do to successfully meet the course requirements.
* Do you find the assessment strategy for your course somewhat bewildering and need advice? Speak to your tutor in the first instance or if necessary consult the Learner Support Team in your Regional Centre.
* Are you trying to access StudentHome but have forgotten your Open University computer username (OUCU) and / or password? Don’t worry, just contact the Computing Helpdesk on 01908 653972 or email OU-Computing-Helpdesk@open.ac.uk and they will reset everything for you.

Course content concerns

* Are you having problems with a particular part of the course content? You may benefit from individual support from your course tutor. Talk to your tutor about this or consult the Learner Support Team in your Regional Centre.

Study Skills

* Would you benefit from additional help with skills such as essay writing, reading, analysing, note taking or mathematical skills? There are lots of resources available online via http://www.open.ac.uk/skillsforstudy/ Alternatively speak to the Learner Support Team in your Regional Centre to see what local support is available.

Exam/End of Course Assessment

* You can find information about preparation for your exam or end of course assessment online at http://www.open.ac.uk/skillsforstudy/ and your tutor will be pleased to help with more specific advice. Alternatively talk to the Learner Support Team in your Regional Centre.

Personal Circumstances

* Are there any difficult personal issues such as health problems that are affecting your studies? If so, talk to the Learner Support Team in your Regional Centre to ensure you get the appropriate support for the remainder of the course.
